COPIE @ OECD LEED Capacity building seminar: Financing business start-up by underrepresented groups
The OECD LEED seminar provides an opportunity for policy-makers to discuss policy options, objectives, design and results for programmes that support access to business start-up financing by under-represented groups. Particular focus is placed on understanding the key factors that determine why certain policies and programmes have demonstrated positive results and others have not.
In this context, COPIE's Access to Finance Manual for ESF Managing Authorities was introduced into the debate by DG Employment's Youth Employment, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance Unit. In addition, COPIE's lead experts on action planning and quality management, Iain Willox and Norbert Kunz, presented the respective tools developed in the context of the COPIE partnership.
